About NHBA Crime Prevention

Under the guidance of the North Harbour Business Association, the BID area enjoys one of the lowest crime rates in the country. This is the result of effective crime prevention through a combination of education, tools, resources and the understanding of how changes in the area can affect crime.
The NHBA has a full-time Crime Prevention Specialist, co-funded by the Ministry of Justice, available to help local businesses prevent crime and work together to create a safer area for businesses to operate from.  Plus to offer support to business owners and operators to create a safer working environment.
