New General Manager for NHBA

Janine Brinsdon joined the North Harbour Business Association\'s management team as General Manager at the end of November.

Janine has recently returned from the UK where she led the redevelopment of an expat newspaper from a printed publication to a top ranked website.  We are confident that Janine will add depth to the NHBA\'s relationship with key stakeholders, media and the 1300 businesses which are core to our association.

"The opportunity to create and support North Harbour business growth - either within the NHBA geographical region, greater Auckland or across international markets, is exciting."

My initial focus for Quarter 1- 2011 will be to enhance the communication platform we have through which we can inform, inspire and celebrate the numerous achievements of our members plus the projects NHBA are driving in the market.  I have been encouraged by the level of support expressed for collaboration and co-operation within our current networks and look forward to leveraging real growth and economic benefit from these relationships for our businesses.

Our next issue of FYI is due March 2011 and will profile opportunities around the IRB Rugby World Cup 2011, our events calendar, updates to our Transport and Security initiatives plus other key articles and resources.  If you have any ideas on any of the above, please communicate these to me on the details below.
